In Gillette, the Long Hill Township Library is at Route 8 and Route 40 in West Long Hill. It was founded in 1992 by the American Association of College Libraries. There are two branches of this Long Hill Township Library. Those are the Southwestern branch and the North Central Branch. The Southwestern Library serves various community users and features a large information desk, a two hundred seat auditorium, a library salad bar, and an Information Portion Store.
