In Gillette, the Long Hill Township Library is at Route 8 and Route 40 in West Long Hill. It was founded in 1992 by the American Association of College Libraries. There are two branches of this Long Hill Township Library. Those are the Southwestern branch and the North Central Branch. The Southwestern Library serves various community users and features a large information desk, a two hundred seat auditorium, a library salad bar, and an Information Portion Store. One large exhibit hall and many smaller exhibits throughout the facility. There are also many informational tables and book displays featuring current bestsellers, local authors, poetry, biographies, and children's authors. The coffee shop on-site served delicious coffee, tea, and various baked goods. The library has four large conference rooms, which house both business and conference services for any business type.
